Ok, well what I learned is that Captain Black especially royal and dark are awesome blends, however they are overly powerful when it comes to moisture, how drying it out and mixing it with Bugler gold, a Turkish blend cigarette RYO blend will give it a nutty, vanilla and sometimes chocolate flavor if smoked slow, and just having the smoke in your mouth... Because essentially what happens in the pipe is that the top burns, which heats up the middle part and supposedly vaporized the bottom parts which creates the flavor notes, and with the smoke you taste this flavor. And plus it gives a god heaven room note smell... :) :puffpipe:

Over the counter blends tend to be very mild in taste.

Get something with medium to full taste and then you'll see what it's all about.

I find that I loose the taste after a little bit of time with one blend? Does that happen often, but if I switch to another that one has also lost its taste. If I drink a bit of water and wait a few hours between I can sometimes get a little of the flavor back. I was a Vaper before and had what they called Vapers Tongue where you can't taste anything, remady that sort of worked was to drink a lot of water and then try a very flavorful juice to kick them back into gear.

I'm pretty sure CBG is doing you a favor by covering up it's taste with nothingness.
