Canadian Shipping Worries

I have two tobacco orders hanging in the wind and one briar order thats been out there since April 24th. I’m just wondering if any fellow Canadians are experiencing anything similar?
tracking info only says label created, but not in the system.
on my last order placed last week I paid for expedited shipping but it says the same thing.

Is the package coming from the U.S? If so, I helped a Canadian friend into pipe smoking and it took quite a while for the package to get to him. I think it because of customs. I hear they're cracking down on taxing tobacco orders. He ordered one tin of escudo and a pipe and the tax was 100 Canadian lol.

I shipped a tobacco package to a friend in Feb and it took a good 3 weeks to get to Montreal from Connecticut.

It's definitely taking longer than it used to.

If you're ordering from a licensed tobacco seller, I would assume it's sitting in customs and you'll likely be hit with a bill for import taxes.

I’m in Canada as well. Let’s remember there is a work action taking place with Canada Post so some parcels are going to be further delayed as a result.

Nothing to be done except for to light up a pipe, sit back, relax, and wait for the ol’ mail to arrive!

Thanks folks. The postal strike was averted and I guess all I can do is wait.
Yes, all my orders are from tobacco vendors that I have ordered from for years.
