Can You Tell If Your Parcel is Dinged by Customs

I love your country, they gave the world ice hockey, peanut butter, insulin and so much more. That said, I have never understood why your Postal Service is such a cluster fuck when it comes to getting items in and out of Canada. Honestly, if an item is in Canada on EBay, I won't even bid on it, just not worth the hassle. I was working in Vancouver for a few months, years ago, and ordered a sweatshirt off my buddy's swag page for his band. Over a decade later, and I still get mail from Canada sating I owe them $14 and change for some kind of import tax. Half of the content US film studios produce is shot in Canada gentlemen, you are welcome to take my $14 out of the profits from one of those as I search for my next job on set ;]

Hey, I take exception to that clusterfuck label. If you're still getting billing mail, it's the swag shop, not CPC. In 2016 Canada Post delivered 8.4 billion items. It's only the ones that don't make it for a myriad of reasons that you hear about.

Well, recently, the problem is the US post. Getting parcels from there to here is taking geological time.

Oh hell yeah. I got my wife a little "Sorry Everything Sucks Right Now, But You Are Still Awesome" gift from Macy's. Ordered it over two weeks ago, and it hasn't even shipped yet, it is still "processing" apparently.

Not trying to offend, but as out there as 5FDP can be, I don't believe they mark their mail as being from the The Government of Canada, aka Her Majesty's Government

I've always had good luck with Canada Post. Bought quite a few razors from Canadian vendors on Etsy and eBay over the years and they generally turn up a little faster than similar stuff from US vendors.
