The first one reminds me of a Nording free hand. As for the second can we get a better look at the mark on the stem please.

Looks to me like a cheaper Nording or a carve it yourself kit. But it doesn't have any markings there might not be a way to tell.

The Old Mokum is a double walled clay and a pretty good pipe (I have one myself). The first pipe is either a circa 1970's Freehand, or a pipe made to look like one. The clay would be interesting if it says California, if it is I imagine its just somebody with a pipe mold set up in the garage. I dont know of any large companies making clays there.

The first one, like photoman said, looks to me like a carve it yourself, but the stem on those kits, don't look like that?? could be a replacement stem?

The lines and the bottom doesn't seem like it would be carved by someone with experience??? IMHO!
