Can anyone help me identify this meer?

Found at a flea market. It was colored beautifully and well smoked it seems. The only markings on it seems to signify it’s an Algerian meerschaum. There is a stamp of DO on the silver band as well.

The style suggests Austrian but GBD made French meerschaum pipes in the 1800s.

Nice swan's neck meer. French from the spelling of Algerian and likely late 19th century to very early 20th century from the style of the sterling work.

Yep, looks that way. Not a style I am well versed in but it does look well colored through smoking and not staining.
