Well, I took these with my iPad, so the shots aren't great. In particular, I couldn't get a clear in focus shot of the Made in England nomenclature on the back of the pipe, but this should give you a good idea about the pipe, which my inlaws bought for me in the UK on a recent trip. There is one blemish on the bow that you can see in one of the shots.

This got me thinking. They gave me another Pete for my birthday about 6 months back and I really didn't look at it much. Went in a sock and in the drawer. Decided to drag it out and check out the nomenclature. This one says Made in Ireland on the back of the shank. On the top of the shank it says Peterson's Sterling, and on the silver it says Sterling Silver Peterson's Dublin.

Gorgeous Petes Peck. That pre-republic Pete is outstanding - they're supposed to be exceptional smokers too - no place for a sock and a drawer my friend! :puffy:

I bought this one from Tony Soderman, he says it was made between 1937 and 1949. Some of this stamping doesn't show on that chart. It has block letters but also adds "Dublin & London"
