A quick update: I reamed it all, walls were completely intact, no signs of any potential damage on briar.

The cake wasn't that soft as I had though, scraping with a blunt knife had no effect but a reamer did its job perfectly.

I think I'll try to mantain just a thin coat in the future, eventhough some virginias leave quite a persistent traces and are hard to be wiped completely.

Is this thread making anyone else hungry?

I normally fold a dry pipe cleaner in half and give the chamber a good scrub while it’s still warm. This gets the crud out of the bowl and promotes a nice solid cake layer.
