They were my Grandfathers pipes who passed away in 1962 when I was 6 years old. My brother bought them at the Estate Auction and had them in his basement since then. I visited with him last year for the weekend and mentioned that I had contacted my first cousin, who was a pipe smoker, and came up with no answers as to what happened to them. He said "I have them in my basement". So he sent them to me.
I smoked the Savenelli Bulldog tonite with some GL Pease "Quiet Nights" and it was a long 1 1/2 hour bowl of pleasure, very lightweight pipe, great draw, and the cleaning process Cajunguy did on it was obviously just what it needed to completely restore it to perfect smoking condition. :worship:
