I was right. Imma have to cellar this stuff.
Broke into my tin from Santa and gave it a spin in my Benjamin Westerheide Danish egg with cat's eye shank:

The tin note was wonderful with a nice stewed fruit component.
I smoked it straight out of the tin. It took a couple of lights to get it going but once it was I had no problems. I'd recommend a short dry time but wouldn't say it is a necessity.
Initially I was getting some hay and bread flavors but that soon changed. It developed into a tangy citrus and raisin-y taste with a light savory spice that was always present but in the background.
St James Flake has been my favorite VaPer and this ranks right along side it in quality and enjoyability. It's nice to now have 2 blends like this that are actually quite different for when the mood strikes for one or the other.
Now to get some more to make sure I always have it readily available.
