Sounds good, but I wonder if the use of DFK is heavy handed? That’d drown some of the other components out. A primarily red Virginia/Oriental blend sounds amazing to me.
I read the Smokingpipes article on it and it sounds like it’s only around 5% DFK. The goal was to have it be balanced with the other components and not overpower anything. I’m looking forward to trying some.
If you want a red Virginia and oriental blend try GL Pease Embarcadero, it is fantastic.
I should probably worry about deepening my cellar of blends I smoke most often. However this combination of leaf makes me wanna dive in. I kinda went blind on Eight State and Sansepolcro and realllly enjoy those small batch releases. So its just deciding whats more important.
Already set an alert in my calendar so I don't forget, the 14th is quite a bit of time away. Definitely am going to try to grab some of this.
