C&D Recall

I had ten tins and was planning on keeping them. The first tin I opened was beautiful and had the most incredible flavor. A week and a half later there was mold in the jar, so I returned it and the other 9 tins. Not worth the chance of smoking mold.

I just want to know more about this whole 'deal'.

What will smoking moldy tobacco do to the smoker?

What fungicide or anti fungus methods are used by C&D, and compared to other 'houses'.

I have really been enjoying C&D products since they 'sponsored' a tobacco crawl last year.

I'm sure that G.L. Pease, Captain Earle, Two Friends, Tom Eltang, and Costello are not happy to see their blending house have a moldy recall.

We learn from our mistakes. Innovation requires inspiration and initiative.

I see this as a sign that C&D leans toward additive free tobacco, and that's what I want to smoke.

Sorry about your 'luck' Jeremy, but don't let it stop you from producing small batch blends.

I still love C&D tobacco.

Here in Central America it is against the law to ship tobacco out of the country. That law is enforced. The cigar companies and Phillip Morris Got that law passed in order to prevent copetation from small companies.

I appreciate your sense of adventure, but they asked for all the tins back, so I obliged. If one is searching for a homemade the one, there are plenty of other Virginias to start with which aren't moldy and under a recall and have just as good a chance of being the one.

A friend of mine says that if you smoke mold, you dream dreams and see visions. Haven't tried it myself.
