I have been packing a bowl of this right after my morning Dunhill Flake w/coffee..now

That the mornings are cooler, it is a a great smoke, and I don't tend

to go to Aros on my normal rotations (I tend to smoke Vs, VaPers and English blends)

Now for the other side. I hated it, and the wife could not stand the smell. Got through half a bowl and chucked it.

I love Autumn Evening once in while. And I am with Bro. Bob on this one - seems to smoke and taste better in the cooler months. However, I have had several complaints from the opposite sex that it smells like ciggarettes and maple - has anyone else had this eperience? I can't tell since I am smoking it - but I checked a tobacco review site and this has also come up for other folks.

THe description to me looked very appealing, however I wasn't a huge fan. The tin aroma is astonishing but think that the taste is too, for a lack of better word, empty.
In my opinion, I would prefer a bit more maple and a bit more of a base tobacco taste.

I really like Autumn Evening. A great Virginia-based aromatic.

It's different from McClelland Townsman Cavendish Blue (another favorite) based on the underlying tobaccos: a Virginia blend vs. a Cavendish/Burley one

I think Autumn Evening is one of the three or four best aromatics on the market right now, hands down. The base of strong red virginias provides an experience that is totally different from what you get with a burley/cavendish-based blend. You can actually taste the VA along with the maple (on most batches, anyway), and there is a reasonable amount of Vitamin N.
