Many Bay pipes have replaced bits that are important to the collectors even from quality sellers that do not show many photos. Beware when no returns.
That shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone... should it?So buyer beware, specifically on eBay?
That's my pointThat shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone... should it?
In general, that is often still your best protection still. If someone buys something that is too good to be true from an unknown or less than reputable seller, they're asking for it. Buy something from Pipestud or a seller of similar repute, and have a problem, you won't need eBay to get involved. If you're always looking for great bargains, you'll occasionally be on the other end of that deal.I remember when eBay was new, and your only protection against a bad deal was the prospect of leaving negative feedback. Good times.
You can always return whatever you buy. No returns means nothing. Many Bay pipes have replaced bits that are important to the collectors even from quality sellers that do not show many photos. Beware when no returns.
Exactly. If there is a material difference in what the sellers claims and what arrives, they have to take the item back, no exceptions.By the way, just because the seller on ebay says that they don't take back sales or do returns, doesn't mean shit, They have made a contract with eBay and must comply with eBay's rules, despite what they may personally want or post. I wouldn't buy from someone that posts that to begin with. It just means that they are going to be assholes to deal with, and you will have to deal with eBay to make them comply.

I don't take returns in cases where it doesn't ruin the product, says that I the seller don't care about your satisfaction. You being happy with the purchase who cares! as long as I make the money.By the way, just because the seller on ebay says that they don't take back sales or do returns, doesn't mean shit, They have made a contract with eBay and must comply with eBay's rules, despite what they may personally want or post.
