First things first, they're fantastic especially when done right.
I get mine from a little local French bakery.
I'm not sure just how much butter they use to make them but I know it's the right amount. They're so buttery and have a great flakey almost crispy outside with a soft fluffy inside that has a wonderful toothiness that's almost like an al dente pasta.
And their chocolate croissants are the bomb too.
I feel sorry for people who can only get what their grocery store offers (which are better than nothing) and not quality croissants.
