Park-Lane's Fireside is excellent, im also a big fan of H&H's Angler's Dream.

I do like Burley blends alot, though i haven't gotten around to trying very many. This thread will help me get together a terribly long TAD list im sure!

You need to try Butera's Kingfisher! Has Burley, Verginia and a little Perique. It's flue cured

and cut in a flake. One of my best mid day smokes.

MacBaren Burley London is quite nice. I recently smoked some Granger, which is a pleasant but not overly exciting blend, and am about done with 2 ounces of Walnut, which has a touch of latakia, giving a nice smokey touch.
C&D does a lot of burley blends, as does MacBaren.

I agree with MacBaren's London Blend Burley. One blend you don't hear about a whole lot is Tinderbox's Burley Light. I thought it was phenomenal.

well, i've recently tried macb's golden extra, london burley blend, and "mixture," all burley-based blends, as far as i can tell. wery impressed so far and no problems with the dreaded macb "bite," presumably because none of these blends contain a whole lot of virginia leaf.

i enjoy PA as well.

one blend i've heard a lot of good things about but have yet to try is john patton's Storm Front (did i get that right?). few reviews on TR, but all of them VERY favorable....all 4**** last time i looked.

apparently available on-line only from 4noggins.com.

my next purchase for sure...and one you might want to sample!

burleys are becoming a favorite category of mine. never been a heavy lat lover but enjoy some quality aros and virginia dominant blends. whereas a lot of the aros and va's i've tried have been hit and miss, i've been luckier with burleys.

now, what was your question again??

I'll SECOND P&C's Butternut Burley. That's some damn nice stuff. It's oh so gentle and just a hint of buttery sweetness to it. Everytime I smoke it I try to make some tangible link to the flavor and fail misserably everytime.
