CE, you have great taste! I find BK is a smashing addition to most straight VAs and indeed Black XX or even SG Brown No.4 --- soothingly smooth but very kickass in the vitamin N department.

One of my favorite is Old dark Fired by Mc Baren and then I'd like to bring up another tremendous newer Burley tobacco, the Mc Barens HH Burley Flake, two day ago I just had a sample of this, and it truly exceeded my expectations.

Just smoked a bowl of this an hour ago. Very nice. Nice chocolate overtones, doesn't loose it's flavor as you go down the bowl. And a little nic to go along with it once you get past the halfway mark
HH Burley Flake that is

Burley is a funny creature. From comments on Forums, I surmise that some people don't taste burley. Other people taste it but don't like it, or like only a few specific blends. Others like almost anything with burley. I really like the stuff, but I'm spoiled and favor those blends that use it best to my tastes. The most discerning pipe smoker I know personally has become a devout Semois smoker since I gifted him with a package (it comes in a foil rectangle).

I picked up some bulk McClelland burleys a couple of weeks ago. Haven't tried them yet but I do enjoy a lot of McC products.

Classic Burley Kake from Hearth and Home.
If you luck out, you can still find an 8oz tin here and there in B&Ms.
The bulk Burley Kake sells out pretty quickly every time they get new stock.

Forgot Sutliff SPS-702 Pressed Burley, another sleeper most people aren't aware is in the catalog.
It's the bulk version of Sutliff Private Stock Breckinridge (discontinued in tinned form).
It's a rich hearty honest cut burley plug.
