Have enjoyed Amphora Original and Solani Aged Burley Flake more than most other blends I've tried and was wondering if anyone can recommend more burley blends available in the UK? Searching on here has got me a load of US recommendations that I can't find

You might consider whole leaf burleys, such as Kentucky burley and burley red tips, as well as other varieties to blend with them as you like. These ship to the UK
Where might one find such a thing online? Looking at the US sites I fear I'd be hit with a heavy import tax bill

Wouldn’t the tax bill from importing be similar to the shelf price in UK?

Trust you have tried St Bruno? GH Kendal Kentucky as well? I love burley blends and those are some others which scratch a similar itch and are available in UK

You might be right there. I've actually never tried St Bruno, didn't realise it was a burley blend. I tried Condor once ages ago and wasn't the biggest fan, my go to otc here is Special Virginia. Might give GH Kendal Kentucky a go

Think more dark fired than burley, but not heavy. As suggested above amphora burley and golden extra if you can find them.
