Let it age a few years to actually appreciate it.
I am going to do my best and try to keep my hands off of what I have stashed. I left myself with about 6 or so bowls I would estimate.

I can not wait to taste some aged tobacco, I am almost thinking it would be cool to have a blend you enjoy and jar it in 5 containers and open one a year to see how the different jars have changed.

I do not scientifically understand what aging does, I will dig up an old post.... I'm sure there is one or two out there with the answer

I turned to buying some older tobacco on other sites. That is one way for me to make it through the aging process of the tobacco that I've bought. It can be reasonable if you look for buys when someone is reducing their unwanted tobacco. You have to be open to trying tobacco that you have not yet smoked, but with the review sites you generally can get an idea of the expected taste. I know that smoking 2008 5100 or Luxury Twisted Flake is very nice and I am trying to buy a 24 oz pack each month of the LBF.

I did not truly appreciate aged tobacco until I acquired, in a roundabout sort of way, some merely slightly aged Anniversary Kake and - oh my. The only way I can describe it is as being equal to my first aged Rioja, which I also acquired in an accidental manner. Since that bowl, I have been jarring more tobacco than I can technically afford. I will not touch my jarred LBF for years. It's so good now that I can only imagine it years down the road!

Roth, yes, well done- a Tempranillo beyond compare. And one that I've found pairs excellently with my game dishes. In my semi-humble opinion, it is the best pairing with simply pre

Ares venison, duck, and goose.

Back to PSLBF. It has to be a pretty popular tobacco because it flies off the retailers shelves quickly. I know that I really enjoy the blend and it's a bargain IMO compared to many other spun tobaccos. LBF has it all, great taste, quality leaf and at the right price. What's not to like? I find it quite similar to MacBaren Club Blend without the bite.
