Bulk Nightcap substitutes....

Has anyone found one? There are a few Nightcap matches. Are they any good?

P&C has a bulk match, not sure how close it really is as the price deference just isn't enough for me to justify trying it. I'd use the link cosmic provided and just get the actual nightcap in bulk. That's were and how I get mine.

I would seriously consider Engine 99 as a substitute.

McClelland's P.M. Pipe is a little cheaper than bulk Nightcap, and some people prefer it to Nightcap.

I don't have any experience with it.

Why not just buy actual Nightcap

+1. I get trying to find a substitute for blends that are either discontinued or difficult to obtain or hideously expensive. Something as obiquitous and reasonably-priced (for a premium blend) as Nightcap, I'd just smoke the real McCoy.

I second McClellands PM Pipe. I prefer it to nightcap anyday.

Wasn't it that at one-time you couldn't get Dunhill tobaccos in the US? I don't know much about this, but I would just assume that this is the case, since there are so many Nightcap, AM Pipes, and even a few Royal Yacht look-a-likes.

Nightcap (actually all Dunhill tobacco) is 20% off at P&C this month using code NOV2016.

McClellend's AM pipe and PM pipe are nothing like the current Dunill offerings. Never had the Murray's versions or any other versions that they may be based on. But don't buy it expecting to get a match of this version of Nightcap, it's a completely different blend and it's probably cheaper to get the nightcap in bulk with the 20% off.
