This is probably on here somewhere but what is a good low speed buffer to get for polishing pipes?? I picked up some renaissance wax to try but would also like to try buffing to. Looking on Amazon but all Chinese crap. Thanks.

My preferred machine is a two wheel, variable speed, a Delta. Gotta be thirty years old at least. Would I recommend it? I'm not familiar with their current products so, buyer beware. I'vew only earely buffed a pipe on it. Hand buffing is sufficient for my needs.
A drill press with a buffing wheel attachment in the chuck works very well
My solution. I'm cheap-skate, er, frugal.

I purchased this with the stand and several buffs from Beall Tool. It has worked out great for me.
Bench lathe with an arbor for polishing wheels, or a bench grinder with same wheels. I have both and can't say I really prefer one over the other. Although, the lathe has more uses
I just hand polish, and looks good enough for me. Not like I show off my pipes to friends and family.
I have a Baldor buffer which works just fine but if I was buying again, I'd pick up a variable speed buffer.
