My late wife and I spent some of her last months traveling to Ireland, mostly by car in a tour she designed, and The Netherlands. To her credit, it was a great trip, so much that we nearly missed the flight home.

I would continue living as I do currently but try to experience a few things I haven't if possible.
I live without a fear of death, for this follows from the fear of life; doesn't this make one unworthy of the gift of life? I believe that any man who lives well is prepared to die at any time. Therefore, I would continue to try to live well, doing whatever is useful and honorable; here that old Native American saying applies, "today is a good day to die ... take arrows in your forehead, but never in your back." As in Henry V, 'once more unto the bridge dear friends...' I would add, of course, '...clenching your pipe.' :puffy:

I'm a simple man mostly.

I'd likely just spend as much quality time with my loved ones as I could and carry on with life much like I do now.

Spend as much time as possible enjoying the great outdoors and clean up my work shop once and for all so my wife wouldn't have to deal with the mess when I'm gone. :puffy:

Everything the "most interesting man in the world" does/talks about in the Dos Equis commercials.

Up until the final 24hrs probably nothing special. Write a book perhaps? The final 24hrs would be spent stealing a Bugatti or LaFerrari in Europe, evade the police for as long as possible, and do a thelma and louise.

I would be a lot more blunt about what I said to people.
I would try and spoil my wife and grand kids. (even more)
I would spend more time on the motorcycle and I would have donuts every morning for breakfast.
If fact I think I may have just worked out this summer's vacation plans! :D

All I can say is that the people I can't stand had better find good places to hide until my cremation.

Well, I wouldn't be wasting any time on forums.
I'd enjoy my friends and family. Do some creative projects. Travel a bit. Give away a ton of stuff. Smoke a few of the blends that I've been saving for a rainy day, since that has arrived. I've already done the trust and advanced directives.
Don't think I'd waste any time on executing a few people who deserve it. Might change my mind on that. :puffy:

Almost 20 yrs ago Cancer Dr at MD Anderson told me to go home and make my Will. You might be surprised to know it doesn't change the way you live your life, just how you go about it, you try to help your family more, my kids did not know as I didn't want the hovering about feeling. But no one knows, I'm still here huffing and puffing and No I can't blow the house down but I'm still here.

And we are glad you are.
