Bubbling Pipe Finish

They will be sending me a UPS call tag to send the pipe back and replacing it with something from the Savinelli line that will not bubble. The do seem sincere about handling the issue.

Awesome news jfox. I am glad that their customer service seems to be stepping up, however I wonder how much they are going to do to actually increase the quality control for future manufacturing.

I just wanted to let everyone know that Laudisi did come through they replaced my Rossi Canadian with a Savinelli Roma 802.

The folks at SmokingPipes steered me away from the Rossi line for the exact reason that rigmedic 1 reported. They said they were getting returns because of bubbling finishes.

If I remember correctly, they suggested to stick with Savenellis or the Sebastian Beo line. Got the Sebastian Beo and have been VERY happy with it.

I got an Aldo Velani, Collection A, from P & C. I liked the pipe because the stem has crazy white lines on it. Anyway, the finish bubbled. I sent it to Starfire in AZ. When I got it back I could see two humungous fills on the bowl. That is not the worst. The drilling is too far down in the bowl. It skirts the bottom, so that no matter how the tobacco is packed, it draws more air than smoke. THE WORST PIPE EVER. Now P & C are selling high end Velani's. I would NEVER buy another one. And shame on P & C.
