easy to prepare... massive farts.
I have to disagree about the easy to prepare as last night I cut the ass off of like 100 of these damn things and peeled the outer leaves as well. I told my wife I always forget how much work it is cutting up every single one. I am lazy. haha

@alaskanpiper I'll have to try the bok choy. I always just called it "the flavorless onions in Chinese food" lol

I was lucky as a kid that I found vegetables tasty. I hope this thread doesn't get me going, but for some reason brussels sprouts don't give me flatulence. Other foods, some beans, do, but not sprouts. Like corn is supposed to be hard to digest, but I've never found it so. I suspect it comes with various genetic groups.

There are very few meals I enjoy more than a medium rare NY strip steak accompanied by either roasted asparagus (first choice) or roasted brussels spouts (second choice).

As to the issue of flatulence, I find all vegetables to be approximately equal in that regard, meaning that the more of them I eat, the more "symptoms" I experience puffy

We like to roast them until the outside is charred. Season with olive oil S&P and your favorite herbs and spices. We don’t peel the outer leaves just cut the tail and usually cut in half the long way. We buy the 2lb bags at Costco. I think the charring helps with the digestive issues.
