Brown Shell Patent?

I took the liberty of totally revamping your title. Adding the actual name may draw more responses.

I've recently purchased a bargain pipe because I liked the looks of it. It's interesting to see the writing on the Stamp that reads "Brown Shell Patent". I've been trying to find some information regarding the stamping but can't find anything. Is any of you experts able to help me identify it? Thank you in advance Gentlemen.

It seems to be an old Lorenzo pipe, in it's early stages they were called Tagliabue (the family's last name). What's interesting to me is the Brown She'll Patent 526 stamp. It almost seems like an Italian pipe that was destined for the British/American market, the Stamp reads "Brown SHELL PATENT SUPER - Product Tagliabue 526.
