As of right now I have a full beard. But ever since I got out of the service in 2011 Ive had some type of facial hair, normally a goatee though. But I am thinking about growing out the handle bars, only to say that Ive done it, and if I like it, Ill keep it.

I am fortunate to have a wife that likes facial hair on me and I work for myself, so I plan on shaving next when I take up needlepoint. Besides, if I shave my beard my back hair might get lonely.

iam growing my beard back. i had a beard 30+ years ago. i had to shave when i joined the fire department. my beard is white now. it was dark brown auburn back in the day. my wife tells me i looked like a biker back then. oh well. time will tell if i should keep the beard or shave it off. oh yeah u guys look great.

I can't really grow a beard. I shave like once a week, sometimes less then that. I just am lazy and don't like shaving. It just doesn't come in thick enough to grow a beard.

Seasonal. I used to deliver heating oil here in the U.P. Of Michigan and it was a big help. My avatar is from an outdoor campout with the Boy Scouts and we hit -17 over night. My beard frosted up nicely in the morning.

I grow a beard seasonally also. A beard protects my face while ice fishing and snow plowing. I shave it off when Spring comes and grow it back in the Fall.

I'm only 23 but I have had a full beard since I was 16. It was long for awhile but the last year i've cut it down to a few cm - an inch or so. Was funny telling people I was 18 when I had a long beard and a handlebar mustache which I could pull up to my forehead.

I wore a nice tight beard like a lot of you until I hit 42. The main reason being the couple times I shaved it, business people questioned my age for having a baby face. I was heavier then, but then spinal issues had me loose a ton of weight to relieve pressure. So after retiring, the grey started coming in, having the opposite result on friends and family. So now I shave in the spring/summer/fall for the tan, and since I hide in the cave all winter I let it come in, gray and all.

I've been clean shaven for exactly two days since 1993; they were the first of Movember in 2012 and 2011.
Most of the last year has been a full beard. While most of the last 20 years has been a full goatee and mustache.

I haven't had a full beard since I started my current job over two years ago, but I start a month long paternity leave on Monday and I won't be shaving a single day. Ill be sure to post pictures at the end of my leave. I've always been more comfortable with a beard than without.

I've had a full beard now for over 25 years. I keep it trimmed most of the time, but have let it grow out from time to time.
It is amazing how much it seems to go with smoking a pipe.

I've kept my goatie for 20 years now, but have just started to let it grow a little longer. When people ask why, I tell them it makes me a better / faster pipe smoking motorcyclist :D
