Broken Tenon on Dunhill

Finally obtained the Dunhill Red bark group 2 with F/T stem I’ve been searching for only to get it and attempt to remove stem and BAM the Tenon broke off in the mortise. Help ! I was ready to pack it full of Nightcap.

Yep, @georged is your man if you want the repair seamless, perfect, and undetectable. He's in high demand so don't plan on that bowl of Nightcap any time soon.

@ssjones I think he maybe the one that post a YouTube 3 part series on replacement. thinking I’d rather go with letting him do the repair since it’s a dunhill if it was a cheaper pipe I would might attempt it

also across the pond on the old continet, or rather in the British Isles,theres one and only repair shop I'd wholeheartedly rely on,cambridgepiperepairs.co.uk , Mr Gefforey is the head of operations, although Services provided by this very repair shop are far from affordable,especially if one is reciding outside of the British isles,but results speak for themselves, brand new hand cut stem from quality rod would set you back for $100
