The same thing took my mother some years ago.Parkinsons is a slow progressive nasty disease.It's not a good way to go.I'm very sorry for your loss.

My uncle passed a week ago after suffering with Parkinsons for 12 years. It was really tough to watch him deteriorate like he did. As said, it is a really rotten disease (not that there are any good ones). I hope you can take comfort from the fact that your Granddad is in a better place, free from the shackles of a horrible disease.

My condolences to you and your family. At least know your grandfather is free from pain and suffering. My mom passed away a bit over 1 month ago and I watched her health decline over a 2 year period. I miss her daily but I know I can honor her memory daily for the remainder of my life.
