Broken Pipe Craig Cobine

I read on the Chicago Clubs Facebook page the Sad News that Craig Cobine passed away in March. Craig and I shared a love of all things Dunhill and we spent many happy hours over the years hanging out with the Chicago guys in smoke filled hotel rooms at pipe shows.
Here we are at his Chicago Show in 2013.

Craig was a driving force behind the Show for many years, and a staunch supporter of anything that would make it better for attendees and vendors alike. He will be missed by all who knew him personally and thousands who did not. May he rest in peace.

For crying out loud we've lost Craig! I know he had lots of health issues for years, but I am still shocked to read this. RIP.

Wow! I missed this until just now. RIP Craig.

He was one of the first enthusiastic supporters of PipesMagazine.com when we met at the 2009 Chicago show. I was met with much skepticism when I appeared at that show by several people. Many thought this site wouldn't become anything as it was brand new then.

Craig was not one of those people and encouraged me to keep working the site.
