I don't think other countries getting locked out of the forum is on the cards though, is it? I really hope not.
I doubt it.

I dunno who owns this forum and how much they're stretched, but likely much easier for these guys to meet GDPR or whatever it is regulations about cookies and other bs, it's probably already compliant.

The TR kick may not even be at all related to tobacco or tobacco regulations, could just be entirely European web/internet regulations for all any of us knows.

They haven't at all said why, and it's kind of pointless to speculate given that there's about 100 billion different reasons it could be.

Honestly, the EU kind of deserves it for making it where every fn website has to bother me about gd cookies now and I have to spend 5 minutes telling it to stop bothering me because they didn't implement stuff right and every time I click a different page, the popups about it come back or every time I visit I have to redo it because they don't save my preferences. 😜

Everyone already has everyone's data anyway and marketing won't stop regardless, I kind of don't care at this point. "Yes, whatever, I don't care, just let me in".

Looks like Trump just accidentally blocked this forum for us US residents, too. Please Mr President, unblock us, we are nothing like those heathens across the pond!

In Spain we have a very active telegram channel and some regional ones. We also have a very active parallel market channel. If someone is interested, just DM me.

I'd love a similar chat group and market at an European level.

I concur, but PipesMagazine really is American, just by the fact that the majority of people posting here are American, and the official language is American English. We do tolerate the Brit's spelling issues (I'm pronouncing that "iss-youse"), but only because we stopped haboring resentment late last year for the unpleasantness of 1776 and 1812.
Did you forget to include 1792? :ROFLMAO:

Kicking their ass and then having to save it a couple times did get bothersome.
That’s not really the whole story, is it? The French had to save the American colonists who were struggling against the British and were not on the verge of outright victory. French support, particularly at the Battle of Yorktown, was pivotal. The French navy's blockade and the combined Franco-American forces led to the British surrender in 1781. French assistance was indispensable in securing American independence. Without French aid, the outcome of the war could have been very different. Or so some say.

Please don’t soil my narrative with facts.

Oh, the irony of those Enlightenment, Republican (and slave-owning) lovers of Liberty, calling in the most absolutist monarchy in Europe to assist them in their fight against their fellow American loyalists and the armed forces of what was then the most progressive democracy in the world...

Smokersforum.uk was owned and administered by a guy from England. It was the go to board for years before it crashed and slowly lost out to PM.com. It had about the same breakdown of international participation as we have here.

And here we are 250 years later still contending with the scourge of "progressive democracy".

We’re still doing the liberty thing here, comrade.
