That’s a nice pipe, they did a great job with these pipes and for the price it’s really a solid deal for what you get.

Purely out of curiosity, just wondering about your opinion re acrylic stems vs. others. Always interesting to see the different preferences.

I’m split and own horn, acrylic, and vulcanite stems. There’s no doubt in my mind vulcanite feels the best in the mouth but I do find the maintenance on them tedious at times to make sure they don’t oxidize. Even with proper maintenance they can still oxidize and I don’t own a buffing wheel to shine it back up. Acrylic feels awkward in the mouth at first but I got use to it over time. Most of my pipes are acrylic but I don’t shy away from buying a pipe that is horn or vulcanite. I have found with age that I’m not as picky with my stems as I use to be. But all that could change one day and I might swear off acrylic and vulcanite and only by horn stems, lol. Such is the ever changing habits we get as we age. That’s probably why I have a bit of everything in the my pipe collection. How about you?

No teeth, unless made with rounded edges, acrylic feels like biting on razor blades.

Even with proper maintenance they can still oxidize and I don’t own a buffing wheel to shine it back up.

Buy a jeweler's cloth for cleaning them. I've never had a newly bought or cleaned estate reoxidize and I don't own a buffer either.

Very handsome! I’ve been wanting a Brigham since I started pipe smoking but I haven't seen a shape from them that I’ve liked. This is definitely the closest I’ve been tempted to finally buy a Brigham.
