It's still soaking wet, I just dabbed it dry with a paper towel. I'm sure it will lighten when dried out, maybe :wink:it appears to have darkened somewhat which is different from ashdigger's pipe.
I don't think that would prove or disprove anything. Try drizzling water through a pipe for 30 seconds, then dry it off and weigh it, allowing for absorption into the cake. Or more to the point, dry it off, wait 30 minutes and then weigh it. Then you would have something close.Maybe you could soak in water for an hour and then weigh. That would give you a very general idea of how much water absorbs in a short time.
You are right, of course. I just think that even an hour soak would not absorb much at all, thus disproving. All i know is that I've done this many, many, many times and have not experienced any problems. None. Nada. Zero. Zilch. And that's good enough for me.
Of course. Generalized scientific research is also commonly used to draw conclusions and is often critiqued to possibly gather more data points. De gustibus non est disputandum.Once again, this was not done to prove or disprove anything. It's done purely in the scientific research of too much time with with SFA to do
I think you may be reading to much into the term " Scientific Research "Generalized scientific research is also commonly used to draw conclusions and is often critiqued to possibly gather more data points.
I was worried about it cracking and there appears to be one started on the rim. It may be from a flaw but it's drying fast, perhaps too fast.I just air dried mine.
