I'm hoping this is a Brebbia. It might be.

I have one Brebbia pipe, an estate Gala three-star First (shape No. 981) with silver ferrule and spigot which I purchased for $15.00 a few years back at an antique mall. It is a smaller pipe (particularly through the stem) than I normally prefer; however, having said that, it IS an outstanding smoker!

newbroom, I was watching that one too. It was tempting. Is that you who bought it? I think it was a steal at that price.
There was a Brebbia Iceberg unsmoked, in the box for bids starting at $39.00 earlier last week. I wish I could afford to buy everything I liked!

I have a couple Brebbias and they are fantastic smokers..in fact there is one that I always use for the slow smoke contests....one of my longest smoking pipes and amazing draw.

I'm very happy with my Barbi. Every bit as good as any other Italian pipe I have ever hand in my hands.

tuold, yep, that wuz meself.

I hadn't bought a pipe in a while and even though I'm not able to read any stamping in those pics, that pipe looks just like one I saw listed elsewhere as a Brebbia. It was unsmoked and had the same marking on the stem.

Update on my RokRoot. It has no stampings showing Brebbia. It says RokRoot on one side of the shank and Real Briar on the other.

It is noticeably better smoking pipe than any other briar I have smoked thus far. Not to have confused anyone by my previous post, MY pipe is lightly smoked. The draw is just so wide open as to be incomparable to any other pipe I've smoked, it's almost scary how open it is, yet it allows me to sip and enjoy its contents at a nice, easy pace.

They look like nice pipes, how much are they new.
Also the "yardsticks" as you called them look like a straight version of a Churchwarden. Wouldn't that long shank make them cumbersome to handle whilst smoking?

The Iceberg is not a pipe I walk around the house smoking, but it is fairly light at just a tad over an ounce. It's got a nice wide, flared bit so it is easy to clench. The length could be a problem when doing close work. It does smoke really well with that spacious tobacco chamber and long stem. It's one of my favorite pipes.

I have a Brebbia Pura Grade pipe that smokes very well.
I would say that in general as a brand Brebbia quality is pretty comparable to Savinelli when comparing similarly priced pipes.
