I think these military-mount pipes (sometimes called army-mount or spigot) are really cool. This example is Italian made with sterling hardware. You’ve been told that taking apart pipes while still warm from smoking risks breaking the pipe. These are made to be disassembled at any time, making military-mounts great travel pipes and pocket pipes.

I bought this as an estate pipe and did the cleaning myself. It is a sweet smoker that burns great to the bottom of the bowl. The drilling is perfect. It’s got some pretty grain, too.

That is super elegant, Brebbia pipes tend to be to chunky in the bowl for my taste any more, but I'd rock that pipe any day of the week

I'll have to photograph mine. It's a big old lumberman. Wonderful pipe. Had it for 30 years and it's still in great shape. Sorta fits in that weird space of factory made hand finished awesomeness.
Is it the Brebbia iceberg? I used to love Brebbia still have a few from the Pura Linea line. Alot of their pipes have decent briar, and some cool shapes. I'm still.planning on adding a few shapes to my collection but they would be mostly pipe rack prince's as their bowls are to large for me any more. I had a really cool small one, can't remember the line but it was a Dublin army mount, and the tenon was a separate piece of wood. Mine came unglued so I super glued it back on... upside down and the pipe was never the same cause It had a slight bend to it all.

I won't hesitate to buy a higher grade estate when I find a great price. One of my Purea Lineas was close to 300$ new, I got it for 37$ on fleabay. Recently I missed out on a sabiata author shape that I always fancied, brand new went for 39$ last week. Retail I believe was close.to 200$
