I may be wrong but my guess is that Savinelli's major market is in the U.S. As a well run business with as good an overall picture of the US pipe market as anyone, Sykes & Co. will have the ability to influence what Savinelli brings to market. I'm a big Savinelli fan for making quality pipes at a reasonable price. Sykes, if you're listening, one problem is Sav has too many lines and price points and should revert to making and pushing the lines most of us are familiar with such as Punto Oro, Giubileo D'Oro, etc. Buyers know what those lines are and mean in terms of quality.
