This really pisses me off. No reason they can't leave an old version of the program in machines. I play with Paint a lot. It's one of my favourite drawing media.

I could be wrong, but I think Paint was replaced by Paint 3D. You can download it for free from the Windows Store.

Yes, it was replaced by Paint 3D, which is a stupid idea.
Paint is Notepad for images. It works because it is a small program which does 90% of mundane image tasks.
Windows does great when it offers basic functions, and lets people upgrade as necessary.
Instead, they are trying to pitch us on fancy new technologies, but these programs rarely take off...

What a nice change of pace. Getting a pleasant update on something for once. haha I love good olde tyme Paint. I have bought a few illustration programs and Wacom tablets etc.. I hate it all.

And had not Jobs been born, Windows would be on DOS v.74.012, still without graphical interface, but with very fast line drawing and calculations.
