Great idea to revive this. Is it possible for it to get too big? With 30+ participants, it could take 6+ months to rotate back to the top of the list, assuming a bare minimum of a week to get to the next member, pack, ship on. Maybe limiting each box to a certain number of participants, then starting box #2 etc. of course that’s doubling the admin work....

Yeah I think if we limit to a week instead of 2 we can get through the list faster and have fewer complaints on the time frame.

You need to speak to Dan aka Woodsroad or Tim aka Ashdigger who I think used to run the thing. Dan was very good at organizing the whole thing. I never participated but I used to donate stuff to the box from time to time. PM and they might be able to give you some pointers. Good luck as it will take over your waking hours!

Limit the damn thing to two pounds or less. Shunting around 14 pounds is absurd.
Get the full name, address, email and phone number of the participants, so if someone drops the ball, or drops out, he can be followed up on.

For sure on the contact info. What you don’t want to ship this much around? It would be hella sampling.
You forgot about inserting a radio tracking device in the box!
I just had a thought...we could with a cheap cell phone. I can track all my family phones. Lol.

These are usually fun to watch. "Hey! The last guy took all the good stuff & now it's full of USA Pride Rolling tobacco! Fuuuuuuuu!!!!!!!" Then someone re-stocks it with the good stuff again, & eventually it ends up disappearing altogether. Or someone packs everything in plastic baggies & now everything tastes like cherries. =)

Flat Rate Medium size. If it fits it ships. Still not cheap, about 15.00. At least the box is free lol.
