Bowl shape for flakes or medallions

Hi all,
I'm starting to branch out into flake/medallion tobaccos (instead of ribbon cut) and was wondering about pipe bowls. Are there any particular shapes that would be more "effective" than others? I saw a guy on Youtube suggest a tapered bowl, but I was wondering if anyone had a second opinion or additional suggestions.

Welcome to the dark side. I love smoking flakes, but don't really care what the bowl shape is.
You should get some pretty good answers here soon, I am a newbie and really have no clue other than flakes are my preference.

My favorite shapes for smoking flakes are Dublins, Billiards, Apples, Lovats,Rhodesian. Favorite size is a group 5 with some 4's also.
