At first, those authors didn't do anything for me, but as I see them pop up on here and in my ebay feed, they are appealing.

But, so far, this is MY favorite chubby author...

It arrived from SP today. Those folks are always quick on shipping. This is a substantial, well-made pipe. I am absolutely thrilled with it and the pics posted in this thread do it justice. Lovely pipe.

Took it for its maiden smoke. Easily now my favorite pipe. Smokes beautifully. For a compact pipe it has an enormous bowl capacity. I have 2 magnums and a Hungarian and only the Hungarian rivals it for bowl capacity. Just the way I like it-pipes with large bowl capacities.
