I received some called Bowell's Aro in my free pipe project package. I have not tried it yet. I was surprised by the tin note - I was expecting sweet something; but this is a warm, almost latakia aroma. Any idea what it might be?

Hard to say Randelli, once you smoke it, it may be easier to identify. It could be northwoods or countryside or Titus, they have several English blends.

Well it came in a ziplock and just said Boswells Aro. Large dark leafs with a few medium brown pieces.

Does not smell fruity. Maybe dark plum or date or fig. Raisen perhaps. Some smokiness as well.

It is pleasant. No bite, really. Kind of astringent. No big obvious flavor.
