My mom is going to New Zealand soon and asked if I wanted anything in particular.

Is there any particular booze New Zealand is known for or worth checking out?

I'm doubtful my mom will do much more than "light" touristy things that don't involve much mobility.

Hey Amish! Loads of new distilleries over here, the whole craft brewing and distilling has been mad for the last 5 years. Can’t think of anything stand out though, and I drink my dads home brew or Jameson’s, so sorry mate not a great help to you!

We are known for our pinot noir, and lots of different white wines. The craft beer thing is really going for it down here. What do you like?

Our chocolate is very good (grass fed dairy cows all year round), whittakers brand products are very good an easy to find.

I like brown liquors and craft beer (preferably dark). I'm doubtful a 6 pack would make it back, but a bottle of booze would.

However, "when in Rome". So I'm game for whatever to expand my knowledge and experience.
