when in my used bookstoer I found 2 pipe books "The Pipe" by Georges Herment (1957) and "The Gentle Art of Smoking" by Dunhill (1961) so I shall be reading tonight.

I love a great used book buy, they always seem to make a very satisfying read - enjoy!
I saw this on Amazon,"The Pipe" by Robin Crole. $10 shipped, so I grabbed a copy. A little shallow in depth, but covers a lot of ground, more of a coffee table book It has some curious pipe pictures, for example a Tilshead, complete with a big pit, an odd choice for a photo in a coffee-table type book. But, for $10, why not.
