Books About Pipes

Im looking for recommendations on pipe and pipe tobacco books. Anything from books about how to make pipe, books about pipe makers, books on the history of pipe manufactures, books on blenders, books on how to blend, etc. All things pipes and pipe tobacco.

So far Ive got the Peterson Pipe book, In Search of Pipe Dreams, Still Searching for Pipe Dreams, Pipe Smoking a 21st Century Guide, The Book of Pipes and Tobacco, The Pipe A Functional Work of Art, The Ultimate Pipe Book, and Pipe Book.

What other books do I need to add?

You might want to do a search on this topic; this is something that has been discussed before. You have a good foundation already, though.

I’d add “All about Tobacco” by Milton Sherman and a personal favorite, “The Pleasures of Pipe Smoking” by Carl Weber. If you’re interested in literature (i.e., fiction and poetry), the major classic is J.M. Barrie’s “My Lady Nicotine.” For poetry collections on tobacco (in all its forms): “Pipe and Pouch” and “Lyra Nicotiana.”
