His lead time for commissions has been running at 8 months for around a year now. Busy guy, and rightfully so.

I wasn’t thinking Commissioned Work, I thought he had pipes regularly in stock, given that Blue Room Briars is his business.

Yep, but he’s got to make them first and having that long of a commission backlog makes it tough to produce a lot of non-commission work. I think it’s a problem a lot of in-demand carvers have to deal with- how to strike the right balance. And the pipes that I have commissioned from Jesse have been sold to me through BRB so it’s all the same business.
