Pardon my insolence, but if you are new to this, how do you know that this shop is really great?
Oh, and ignore the neighbors. Save your pennies and move out of town.

It is great to me because I found 2 tobacco's I really liked...and Dan the owner is a really friendly guy.

I have a Peterson that needs it's stem repaired and he gave me their card/# to get it repaired. Like I said this is newish to me.. broke the first pipe I bought ,that shop helped me out with tobaccos and ways to get my pipe fixed...Would love to see this shop in person ...what is a mensch?

Not really sure what to say..new to this off and on..only piping inside the house but 2 weeks ago ventured out to the porch, only to have the neighbors say that guy is smoking a pipe....oh he thinks he is so cool..and the girlfriend say oh I know..not in a good way,but just kept on puffing cause I wanted to...guess this is for me

I mostly smoke on my front porch/verandah
My gardener (ie wife ) planted hedges front and both sides, so I can now smoke free from the neighbours' prying eyes and people walking their dogs, bicycling kids, etc
More importantly the hedges provide a very useful wind break

Ah, Bloomsburg! I thought that I knew the area well (I like to fly-fish Fishing Creek near Benton to the north), but am not familiar with the Covered Bridge Smoke Shop. I'll have to give it a look-see when next I'm there.

I really liked what I got there,it was very helpful and will go back. You might be expecting a big shop but this is a nice quiet place that I prefer

A really great shop for pipe tobacco and pipes is at Coverbridge smoke shop.

Good to meet ya & welcome. Bloomsburg is a neat town just off I-80, college nearby, superb fresh fish market, nice stop before getting on rI-81. Thx for posting the Covered Bridge shop, hope to visit it later this summer.
