Blends Similar to Capstan Blue?

Capstan Blue and FVF are my favorite virginias. They aren't exactly similar, but kinda do the same for me.
I agree that Dunhill Flake is the closest to Capstan Blue in flavor and texture, but there are also differences and I prefer Capstan. It has a dry, almost vanilla or tonquin-like sweetness and much less citrus than the others.
In that regard, FVF comes closer than any of the others.

Thanks to you now I just opened my 2013 tin of FVF! Just cubed cut 2 flakes and I’ll try it this afternoon After A few hours of drying.

I have not had Capstan Blue, but Sutliff 515 RC-1 is a great red Va that's also available in bulk.

I recommend fully rubbing it out unless you're drying your cubes for 2 days.

Yes, tried it cubed cut and it was perfect! got a nice sweetness. Now will I be able to find any at some point?

No they had import issues. It was already hard to find before that.

The topping makes Capstan pretty unique. The other blends mentioned are all top quality, but their toppings are a little different.
