As the sun rises and sets, so does my taste for tobacco. I'm curious if other people have the same experience. The flavors I crave in the morning are vastly different from those I desire in the evening. Same goes with seasonal and weather changes. I'm looking for input. What are you favorite tobaccos under the following parameters?

Afternoon: Wessex Burley Slice (If I smoke it in the morning it'll kick my ass)
Night: I'm less picky here. Anything will do.

Rainy weather: Escudo, though I can't say why
Sunny weather: Cobblestone Chess Knight

Summer: Cobblestone Virginia Plug
Fall: Sutliff Anomalous
Winter: Hoggarth Wintertime Flake
Spring: Orlik Golden Slice... something about citrus fits with spring

Indoors: European Aromatics if I've got people around; VA/VaPer if not.
Outdoors: Dark Plug. I love the taste but if smoked inside one might think the house is ablaze

Morning: I don't smoke in the morning.
Afternoon: No difference than night.
Night: No difference.

Rainy weather: English.
Sunny weather: Virginias.

Summer: Virginias, Oriental or Kentucky.
Fall: English or Burley.
Winter: English or Burley.
Spring: Virginias, Oriental or Kentucky.

Indoors: Virginias.
Outdoors: Every kind.

The only thing that alters my tastes is the time of day. I like to progress in strength, in the blend, as the day progresses. I almost always smoke Sir John's Flake Virginia in the morning with coffee. Second will be something like MB HH Pure Virginia, MB Virginia Flake or Vauen No 14. 3rd is usually F&T CVP, G&H Scottish Flake or a similar Virginia Flake. Sometimes a McClelland Virginia is 3rd or 4th. 4th may be F&T Vintage or this slot may be where I mix in a VAPER or Virginia Oriental blend.

Mornings
GH Coffee and Caramel (black cavendish, mild with lots of flavour).
Aged Burley flake - mild, creamy and smooth.

Daytime
VaPer blends
Various strong Kendal flakes
Cherry black cavendish

Evening
all of the above except with less of the stronger flakes plus Petersons 965, my one Latakia blend. Though I'm starting to smoke that more at other times of day as well as my liking for it is growing.

Wet weather/dry weather, hot/cold
No different.
Though don't tend smoke outside if wet or windy as there's not much pleasure in it and I'd rather save my tobacco for more favourable times.

Morning : Whatever was left from the night prior

No real time or seasonal change on my selection, just whichever I'm in the mood for at the given moment or whichever is closest to reach.

Morning: I don't usually smoke in the morning, but if I do it's something like Newminster 400 Navy or OGS
Afternoon: If I do, it would usually be something like PS LNF or another Va/Per blend.
Night: This is usually when I smoke and it varies tremendously according to my mood or what I'm drinking or the weather. Usually it's a Va or Va/Per, but I do enjoy the occasional English/Balkan.

Rainy weather: Depends on the temperature, but English/Balkan blends go well with the rain.
Sunny weather: Mostly Virginias

Summer: VA or Va/Pers
Fall: GH Dark Bird's Eye seems to be my go-to during Fall
Winter: GLP Quiet Nights; I also have a tradition of cracking an older tin of Sutliff Cringle Flake during the Holidays
Spring: back to Virginias and Va/Pers; Lakeland blends also seem to go well with Spring when I'm in the mood

Indoors: I don't smoke indoors
Outdoors: See all of the above.

Usually decided 5-10 minutes before I fill up the 1st bowl

Early on I used change with the seasons, but now I’m kind of a one trick pony. Whatever I start the day with normally stick’s with me all day. If I was to change up it would be from a heavier blend to a lighter blend as the day progresses.

I don't have a preference regarding time of day, but I usually smoke in the evenings.

Rainy weather: Non-aromatic, heavier blends with or without latakia, DFK, perique. Rainy days are slow, contemplative days which deserve a slow, contemplative smoke.
Sunny weather: No preference

Summer: No particular preference. I usually don't want to smoke when it's really hot out.
Fall: Cooler weather makes me gravitate towards smoky blends with latakia and/or DFK
Winter: Same as Fall
Spring: OTCs, VAs, some aromatics

Indoors: Probably less pungent, more aromatic blends.
Outdoors: No preference

No hard rules, really. I just smoke whatever I want whenever I want, but this is generally how my preferences trend.

I am now doing 3 a day on average. Some people I know smoke like 4-5+ normally. I don’t know how they have the time.
