I have no patience, so 48 hours will have to do before my first taste.
It started a little flat, but the second half of the bowl was very good. However, it was not what I was going for at all, but at least I have a baseline. Surprisingly enough, the perique is front and center even at those proportions. It's more peppery than fruity, but drowning out the orientals just a bit. That being said, I'll make a couple ounces of that recipe, as it's a nice earthy vaper with, for my palate, a good amount of perique zippiness. Great tingle in the snork, no bite at all, and exceptionally cool.
I think in recipe 2 I'll eliminate the perique and add black cav and a little bright ribbon. I want to lighten it up so the orientals come through a little more, and just a bit more sweetness.
