Blender's Gold Vanilla?

I was just given a 12oz. pouch of Blender's Gold Vanilla tobacco, however I have never heard of it and never smoked it. I was just wondering if anyone else has, and what their thoughts on it were. It was a nice gift from a non-smoker freind! They didn't like the smell of my Navy Flake. "That don't smell like pipe tobacco!" I guess most people see a pipe and think of aromatics. 8)

It is passable stuff. I smoked a good bit of Blenders Gold at one time.

Thanks! I was wondering what to expect before opening it. Part of what made me really want someone else's opinion is that, the front of the pouch says Rich vanilla however the back says Royal cherry and gives the discription of a cherry tobacco. It made me wonder! The smell of the unopened pouch doesn't seem to smell of cherry so I think the front might be right.

I know I'm late in this post, but I just now read it and wanted to give my opinion.
Blenders Gold is one of my favorite tobaccos,

I get good flavor even after relighting the tobacco that is on the bottom of the bowl.

It is one tobacco that I will always purchase again, and again.
