Here's a blast from the past
Not your typical French Dupont! I've had this in a drawer in the shop and thought I'd dig it out today and share it. You may have seen dozens of these but it's the only one I've come across. Purchased it years ago and never smoked it. Not sure if it's ever been smoked. Must be a salesman gift from Dupont. Seems to represent a powder cask or container. No idea of the age.

Back in maybe 2010 I found one of those Porsche pipes in a box from ebay. They pipe looked similar to yours.
The Porsche pipe wasn't listed or pictured in the listing, it was a complete bonus.
The box contained about 30 heavily used pipes that had obviously been stored in a basement....they stank!
Just a bunch of no name basket pipes mostly. But there were a few old Kaywoodies, so I paid the $28 delivered.
Long story short......
I put the Porsche pipe on ebay.....It sold for $140.
Apparently they go for a lot more now, but I was very happy. This is the identical looking pipe, but not the one I had.
