Oh I have been plenty and it has grown on me quite a bit. The most unfortunate thing about this tin is that it is almost gone! I've been packing it in a small corncob I recently picked up to kinda ration it out alittle!

I tried some Blackhouse because the Baron recommended it. That was several weeks ago. I didn't like it. Then, during the blackout I decided Blackhouse would be the right evening smoke. Not because of the similarity of the words, but of the moods. I liked it very much on the second try. I started to burn it it as a late night smoke. Good fit. Then I needed more and couldn't find it. Finally I tracked it down and got a pound. No cans available. Since then I have smoked a lot of it. There is going to be a shortage of this stuff, so if I may suggest, do not try it. You will just be frustrated with the difficulty of finding it.

The shortage is over. I was able to secure enough of the missing component to keep us going, so there shouldn't be a problem. Also, on the dryness issue, there are two reasons: 1) We don't want you to pay for added water, and 2) Extra moisture=steam, which can burn your tongue. That's why our tobaccos all lean toward the dry side.

Wish all blenders felt this way!

jpants:
STOP!
Do not smoke any more of that tobacco. The slightly dry, springy condition you describe is symptomatic of a dangerous defect that actually renders the tobacco poisonous.
Disposal of this dangerous item must be undertaken only by trained professionals and -- lucky for you -- I am one such.
Immediately ship whatever is left the tin to me, and I will dispose of it in the approved manner. As you are a member of this forum, I will not charge the customary fee.

Just don't forget to send it to me first, as I am the official intermediary between the consumer and the Professional Disposal Department. It's a very important step that has to be properly adhered to. Thanks!

Ghost, you didn't get the memo about the TPS reports?
We're trying to streamline and reduce costs, so we've cut out the inspection step.
Sorry about that.

just got an ounce of the bulk from pipes and cigars in the mail today, Been sampling it, not bad. not bad. Not as strong a Lat as I'm used to with my lat blends. Just enough to kinda of wave at me from the the end of the pipe. The room note is also significantly kinder to others than the Lat bombs I've been smoking. Next TAD order will definately include a lb or several of this one to jar up and make sure I keep it on the shelf.
